Get to know Dr. Scott

Dr. Scott is an acclaimed educator who has earned numerous honors throughout his career.

He resides in Alabama where he works with educators and students throughout the state and nation to forge civic strength through the lens of history. He studied multidisciplinary education at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and later, received his Ph.D. in leadership from the University of Alabama. Dr. Scott began writing his debut novel after obsessing over the need for young students to fully understand and appreciate the dynamic history of the United States.

When Dr. Scott is not writing, he can be found exercising, reading, or exploring the beautiful landscape of the United States.

In his educational career, he has taught social studies at every level. Dr. Scott is passionate about helping kids learn the history of the United States in a fun way and believes we are all stronger together.
